The PPM Expert will work collaboratively with interfaces across the entire company to effectively deliver PPM value to the drug discovery, development and repositioning (NTE) process. Knowledge and skills:

 

 

MD and/or PhD in human genetics, genomics, molecular biology, computational biology, similar preferred. Will consider Master's level education commensurate with experience.
Experience in pharmacogenomics and/or biomarker applied research Knowledgeable (and preferably recognized leader) in the field of population genetics, bioinformatics and statistical analysis and interpretation of multivariate pharmacogenomics and/or biomarker data
Publication record or industry experience in fields associated with PMP and/or biomarkers
Fluent in English
Excellent communications and presentation skills

Optics group is responsible for development of the systems including light sources, optical path and sensors.
Key Responsibilities:
The Optical Engineer will participate in design, development and testing systems based on optical and photonic technologies. This person will interact with hardware design teams to assist in overall development of the systems and modules. The job includes specification, se-lection and qualification of the optical and electro-optical components and modules, devel-opment and benchmarking system performance models, development and implementation of test procedures and/or evaluation and selection of appropriate test instrumentation. The engineer will be responsible also for technological modifications of the existing products to improve their performance.  
Job Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Physics / Optical Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in hands-on design of optical / electro-optic systems
• Experience in optical design
• Knowledge of optical design software (Zemax, CodeV)
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
