2.      Job description

The CPU Lead Architect will be a key in setting the technical and high performance CPU subsystem direction of Intel’s next generation CPU.

The candidate will be joining the world class architecture department in Israel. The Architecture team is responsible for defining the architecture and microarchitecture for future cores including definition and evaluation of microarchitecture features, CPU performance modeling, power, area analysis and ISA extensions.

3.      Job responsibilities

The primary job responsibility will be to develop the next generation CPU architecture, develop the vision and the direction for Intel’s core architecture and drive the work of architects and designers on future core developments.

The successful candidate will drive major decisions for CPUs and guide the performance, design and validation teams throughout a project. Working successfully as part of a world class architecture team is equally important as collaborating with and guiding cross organizational teams like planning, RTL design, pre- and post-silicon validation, power, SoC architecture and design and customers. 

4.      Job requirements

MSc or PhD degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering, minimum of 15 years of experience including minimum of 3 years in a leadership position driving major aspects of a CPU project.

Additional qualifications include:
